We teach holistic self-defense skills.

We are based in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area.

Safety starts on the inside.

Are you anxious or fearful about your personal safety at times? If so, you’re not alone.

Everywhere there seems to be new reasons to be concerned. News reports constantly cover violent assaults and attacks, sexual assaults, active shooters in public places, and more.

Regardless of who you are, taking responsibility for your safety is always a good idea.

Personal safety starts on the inside.

It centers on your mindset.

Your mindset is the key. No matter what tools you have: martial arts or other physical self-defense skills, using pepper spray, using other defensive weapons - these tools have little value if you don’t have the right frame of mind.

Focusing on the present moment is essential - not worrying about what might happen, not thinking about what happened today. Only now. There are other awareness skills to learn and nurture as well.  They all work to enhance your safety, with or without physical weapons.

The most valuable weapon is the human mind, trained and practiced.

Enhance your peace of mind with personal safety training.

Taking action to improve your personal safety is both wise and empowering. Some training can be in person, and some can be done remotely. Don’t let schedules get in the way of your safety. Make time to help your peace of mind.

Sure, it might be scary - when you start training, you’re admitting:

  • You don’t know it all

  • You are vulnerable

  • You need help

Here’s what is also true:

  • You are a person of action

  • You are strong

  • You are decisive

  • You are self-sufficient

Don’t let fear burn you up.

Walk through it and start your journey today.

Second: Add a skill

Next: practice and add to your toolbox

Once you’ve learned a skill, competence and confidence are generated by practice. You also need to practice correct technique. Plus, it’s never a bad idea to add skills to your toolbox. We’ll support you on your journey.
